For the summer of 2007, the schedule will be every Sunday from 4pm til dark until the end of September. Here is a link to Google Maps and the address: 2133 Frederick St Detroit, MI 48211 The festival actually occurs in a field across the street from where John used to live, so this is actually the address of a field. Guitar Bernie a.k.a. Bernard Ford. was on the front lines  keeping the Carpet House   summer band of 2004 together, but that just comes naturally for a marine who saw combat in Beirut.  He's been playing for 20 years and refreshes himself by learning different styles.  Currently he's learning a little flamenco and slide guitar.

Guitar Bernie is a behind the scenes organizer for the Carpet House who has a vision of helping the loose coalition of blues musicians form into a network that can  name a place and time and everyone shows up and has fun.
