We were not able due to rain to start up on the 15th, but the following week we were on jam.  For our opening jam session, we had a hell of a crowd, and artists  from all over came out,  it seems that they been waiting all winter long  for opening day.  I cannot say enough about how we appreciate the people in the city for there love of the blues, and for the way they conduct  themselves,it make me proud. Remember when you put a few duckets in the bucket, this is what makes this event happens. A lot of you dont realize that we have to pay for grass cutting, gas for the generator, cleaning of the porta johns, garbage pick up,and for the cleaning up of the area after every show .  plus we try to give the house band a few dollars, so when the bucket comes around please donate, this is how we are able to come out every week....BIG PETE

May 2, it rained off and on all day, so when that happens we shut down and restart after the rain pass, which we did 3 times, although it was bitterly cold, The second week May 10, we had a really nice crowd although it was extremely cold, but we had plenty of artists, and musicians. but by week number 3 May 16, we had a over flow of people and entertainment, it really went off well, since the weather finally co operated. I look forward to seeing   everyone, who enjoys good blues, and mardi gras in the hood  to par-take in our out doors blues, and jam session....BIG PETE.
